For the compiling of this excellent book displaying a great variety of Bulgarian national costumes, was mainly used the Bulgarian National Museum of Ethnography's collection of items. Among the 51 000 traditional artefacts it exhibits, those of clothing are about 20 000. Quite a rich material to explore isn't it?

Such a rich material, with so many pictures, appears on the Bulgarian book market for the very first time. Extraordinary!
