Women's traditional costumes are among the most remarkable works of Bulgarian folk art. For Bulgarian people clothing is not only an element of their lifestyle but it is also an inseparable part of their national identity. By means of the specific weaving technique and tailoring, the peculiar form and composition of the costume's numerous parts characterized by rich colors and ornamentation, clothing turns into a sign of kin and social affiliation. In the album you will also find bridal costumes, which are the richest and most beautiful ones of all the other women's costumes.
