The first volume contains the most vivid vocal and song samples in Bulgaria with their lyrics and tunes, while the second volume relates about the Bulgarian Instrumental music - popular horo- and rachenitsa-dances in 2/4, 5/16, 7/16 of both types, 8/8, 9/16, 12/16, 13/16, 15/16, 17/16, as well as non-measured melodies. The first volumes introduces 28 singers and 10 instrument players like Yanka Roupkina, Valya Balkanska, Nadejda Hvoyneva, Daniel Spassov, Ivo Papazov, etc. A huge number of pages is allotted to the clarinet player Ivo Papazov and his orchestra - his professional career being a real epoch in the folk music.
A special place is provided for the six folklore regions and sub-regions of Bulgaria and their respective most famous representatives (Thracian, Rhodope, Norhern, Shopp, Dobroudja, Macedonian) with map. At the end of the book you will find 41 musical scores of the most famous Bulgarian songs like "Dilmano Dilbero", "Lale li si, Zyumbyul li si, Gyul li si?", "More sokol pie", etc.More photos of this item
