This BULGARIAN TRADITIONAL KAVAL INSTRUMENT is handmade by one of the best masters in the country -Victor Terziyski. The instrument is in the key of E. The materials that are usually used for the make of the instruments we offer most usually are: cornelian tree, ash tree, oak, pear tree. However, the one that is most often preferred by our master is Cornelian tree. In fact, this kaval is made of cornelian tree, too. The insertion parts are made of black plastic material, whereas for the mouthpiece is employed deer horn. The reason why horn was used for the mouthpiece is that the player's lips contact natural material (not plastic).
