Bulgarian Kaba Gaida for Children, goatskin bag « Bulgarian Folk instruments « Home
We are pleased to offer you this attractive children's Kaba gaida made by the well known master Hristo Topchiev. The instrument is designed for all children of age between 4 - 10 years old. This Kaba gaida is a perfect start for everyone, who wants to play one of the most impressive Bulgarian traditional folk instruments.
Kaba gaida is handmade after old traditional technology and consists of blowpipe (duhalo) and chanter (gaidanitsa), made of Plum tree and bag made of small young goatskin. There is a drone pipe hub which is with a stopper as a drone pipe is not necessary for this instrument. The chanter hub is made of cow horn as the traditional one.

This bagpipe is not for professional players but it is an interesting small model of the original Kaba gaida. In our store you can find professional bagpipes.
