BULGARIAN COMMUNIST PARATROOPER / PILOT HELMET, summer type

We present you with a perfect early-Communist era BG helmet made of dark brown genuine leather. This is a summer model with lining on the inside and straps which are placed alongside the helmet crossed and clasped on their opposite side.
These helmets were used by the Bulgarian commandos- paratroopers, but may be also designed for pilots and the ground staff, commanding and supporting the flights. It is most probable that this type of helmets were produced during 1950s when the Russian planes, MIG 15, started to be imported in Bulgaria. Although the helmet we offer doesnÂ’t have headphones, it is in absolutely perfect condition. Such helmets have been kept a long time in military stores and that is why they are of almost never- used quality.
