RARE Original WWII German CZ 27 black pebblegrain 1944 holster
In World War II, Bulgaria saw an alliance with Germany as an opportunity to satisfy its territorial claims unsatisfied after the WWI. As an ally of the Austro-Hungarian Empire and Germany, Bulgaria was supplied with all types of military equipment from these two countries. To meet the needs of
Bulgarian army the allies imported helmets, bayonets, pistols, arms, etc. And so different models Walther pistols were used in Bulgarian army.
The holster we offer matches a CZ-27 pistol which was the arm of Bulgarian royal police. We guess this is an item of much interesting history. There is a white rivet in the middle that we suppose was added after the war, when the communist tried to prevent the use of all German and royal equipment. Most probably the royal policeman was arested by the communist and his equipment left in police stock as a piece of evidence. The rivet could be easily removed if one prefers.
Holster is made of black color, high relief leather. On the back of holster are clearly seen two stamps - the Waffenampt mark WaA 71 ; further below there is another one with year of production "ZGU 1944".
