BULGARIAN COMMUNIST ARMY HELMET M51/72 with CAMOUFLAGE COVER « Bulgarian Militaria « Home
This is communist army helmet M51/72 with camouflage cover. The interesting about this helmet is that it was made after the Italian Nazi M33 helmet model, although the initial idea was to look more like the Soviet post war helmet types. The model can be dated to 1951. This type of helmets was produced in '70s. Helmet comes with camo cover in the old Bulgarian splinter pattern which is copy of German WWII "Splinter". Inherited from WWII alliance between Bulgarian and Germany , this pattern stayed as official Bulgarian parttern during the long years of communist regime.
Helmet is in Never Used condition - Perfect for every military collection!!!
The leather liner and the chinstraps are in great too. Liner size: S, M, L
