BULGARIAN WWII M36 HELMET, SHORT VISOR original royal decal

After the WWI the Bulgarian ministry of the war worked out the popular M36 model helmet. A little bit later, in 1939, Bulgarian military men decided to design another improved model of the Bulgarian steel helmet. That was the M36 "short visor" helmet - it 's of the same form as its predecessor, but it's not so deep and has a smaller brim. The rolled edge was removed. The helmet was made of a better quality steel. All the rest is same as with the M36 standard model - paint, decal, liner ring, chinstraps, and liner.

The example we found has preserved its dark green paint, part of the Bulgarian tri-color royal decal, and original liner (size 57-58).

We suppose this helmet type was made in really limited quantity , or after the WWII they were melt, because nowadays these are very rarely found.
