Rare Original Ottoman Turkish army belt buckle 19th century

We offer an original belt buckle part of the Turkish army uniform from 19th century. The examplaire left in Bulgarian lands most probably after the Russian -Turkish war in 1877.

The buckle is heavy massive, made of brass. With the moon at front - symbol of Ottoman empire.

Dimensions: 6 / 6 cm or 2,4/2,4 inch.

The belt bukle has never been cleaned or threated with some cleansing methods which is evident by the layer of original patina and dust. If one prefers can easily remove this layer and make visible the original golden brass color.

The buckle has suffered some pression as the upper end of the moon is bent, as well one of the edge is slightly broken.
