Rare original WWII German gas mask canister neutralization box

This is a interesting rare model German gas mask container, used also as a gas neutralization box in the period of World War II. On the canister lid there are several holes with a check valve on the inside that regulates the openings. In the other end of the canister , on bottom is seen a flexible handle. The canister was obviously used for both - gas mask container and sprinkling of neutralization gas after a chemical attack. The plate regulates the quantity of the neutralization substance. The shoulder strap is wrapped unfortunately.
