For more than 30 years now the enthusiastic members of the Bulgarian Television and Radio Mixed Choir, with Mihail Milkov as the Principal conductor have largely contributed to the development of the sound Bulgarian choral traditions. The Mixed Choir has recorded over 10 000 minutes of music for the Gold Collection of the Bulgarian National Radio. It has given more than 100 concerts at home and abroad. In 1979 the Bulgarian Television and Radio Mixed Choir was awarded the People's Republic of Bulgaria Order, 1st class. In 1986 it received the Georgi Dimitrov Order.
