THE OLDEST BULGARIAN CAMOUFLAGE COVERALL SUIT, 1953! officer model

We are delighted to present you an OFFICER'S paratrooper camouflage coverall, a 1953 model!!!!

After WWII, the camouflage uniforms used by the communist army were very similar to the WWII German splinter pattern uniforms. Suits with this pattern were made for the first paratrooper and secret service officers of the communist army. In fact, our camouflage coverall can be defined as one of these coveralls of rarity. The main reason why these camos were intended mainly for officers is their multi functionality. Moreover, the camouflage has a removable hood. There is also a regulation strip at the waist, legs and sleeves of this coverall.

At the chest part are placed two big pockets divided in three sections for keeping AK cartridges and other fighting arm equipment. Another two big pockets like these are placed on the thighs. Two small flap pockets are sewn at the waist section. Below them are visible two pockets designed for the hands. All the buttons are made of black colored bakelite with pentacles on them. Only the hood buttons lack the pentacles. Inside the camouflage section are placed ink stamps by the factory that carried out the military order. On both sides are visible stamps revealing the size of the camouflage. There is also a factory stamp of quality by “Sickle and Hammer State factory” in Gabrovo, with quality control number and the year of 1953.

The camouflage is in never-used condition. Besides the shoulders are visible white, original size labels of the factory producer.

The main difference b/w this camouflage officer's set and the other 1953 model is that the officer's one has a waist belt. Also, this suit has more munitions pockets and a removable hood.

The suit is intended for paratroopers and intelligence agents. As this cut had a lot of advantages, it was used mainly by paratrooper officers.

As the cut is universal, the camouflage can be worn with other clothes underneath as well as on naked skin.

The suit is in perfect, unused condition, with original textile labels on the chest issued by the military producer.

Chest girth: 122cm/48 inches

Maximum waist girth (belt can be regulated): 119 cm/46,8 inches

Length from neck to crotch: 90 cm/35,5 inches

Length from shoulder to ankle: 150 cm/59 inches

Usually, the paratroopers wore these camouflage uniforms with leather helmets. Such helmets can be found at our store, too. They are also authentic, quality guaranteed.
