SET 2 classes Bulgarian Order of Military Valour and Merit
Instituted: This is the third military order instituted after 9 September 1944, by decree of the National Council of PRB, on 28th May 1974
Awarded to: military servicemen of the armed forces and the Ministry of the Interior, for their long, faithful and flawless service as well as for their contribution to maintaining safety in the country.
Form: Rhomb shaped, red-enamel award 31 mm in size, characterized by swords. In the center is placed a lion with the National three-color flag and a wheat twig. In white-enamel ring is inscribed: "PRB for military Valour and Merit". The ribbon is of five-angle shape, with the national colors and green lines on the edges.
Classes: two classes. The first class has gold washed elements. The swords and rays of the second one are made of white metal.
