Instituted: On 4th August 1966
Awarded to: Bulgarian and foreign citizens for bravery in saving other peopleÂ’s life, property or for any kind of activities against the crime.
Form: White enameled five-angle star 40 mm in diameter, with gold-like edges. In the center can be noticed the embossed image of a lion lying on a star with rays. The second class is different only in terms of rays (they are silver-like). As for the third class, all of its elements are silver like.
Classes: 3 classes. The ribbon of the order is of five-angle shape, with the national colors in the middle.
