FULL SET Bulgarian Communist Parade Officer dagger, belt and aglets PERFECT

We offer you a communist set consisting of: an officer parade belt, aglets and an early model dagger. All of them come in close to PERFECT condition. Except the fact that there is some miniature groove on the upper part of the scabbard.

The parade dagger that is intended for all types of military forces. It was to be worn by officers and generals of the communist army and MVR. The model was established by a decree of the National Assembly, of 1951. The people who were the first to receive the dagger are the graduates of the Military Academy in 1957.
The dagger + scabbard is 34,4 cm/13,5 inches long. The dagger only is 32,9cm/13 inches.
The blade's length is 23,4 cm/9,2 inches. The hilt is made of white plastic material and it is lined with gold like bronze.
On the hilt can be noticed a sort of "head" by whose means the hilt is fixed to a brass made cross guard.
On the "head" can be noticed a five-point star. The scabbard is made of chrome-plated sheet iron.
The scabbard lining is made of bronze and it is polished. The lining comprises 2 end parts and a brace in the middle. On one of the end parts, at the front, can be seen a lion in an upright position. The lion is the symbol of the Bulgarian army. This symbol is placed at the background of a shield and the rising sun, in a medallion like circle.
On the back side of the very same end part, in a medallion like the above, is depicted the Bulgarian Communist Party House in Sofia.
The carrier of the dagger is represented by two decorative bronze made chains ending with a massive clasp. The dagger goes with a parade communist officer belt made of textile, of the type worn by the officers of the Communist militia, State Security Services and Fire forces.
It comes with yellow aglets and a parade belt whose full length is 135cm/53inches. The communist buckle is of extremely beautiful and exquisite make, made of brass with an upright lion above which is placed a five-pointed star, and oak leaves at the sides.
This is a rare, perfect set for the collectors. Don't pass on it!
