25 years ago, Zdravko Mihaylov, a renounced Bulgarian choir conductor, had his first gramophone record released. His recordings with the Great Voices of Bulgaria ensemble are included in the album bearing the same name, and received the Grammy award in 1990.
This anthology we offer you comprises 20 of the best songs realized by Mr. Mihaylov in the period 1978-1998. Of course, the offered selection is far from exhaustive, it is rather a "collection of emotions" as his son admits. It is also a sign of high respect and appreciation to the authors and performers of the music, some of them, alas no longer among the living...
