It is fascinating how the sounds of a symphony orchestra or a big band can be recreated by this chamber-sized group of just 16 instrumentalists. All of the current members are professionally trained musicians, not only soloists and virtuosos, but also composers and arrangers in the field of folklore. Especially notable are the stylistically authentic interpretations based on a detailed knowledge of the wide variety of regional "dialects" in Bulgarian music: horo dances from Northern Bulgaria, songs from Macedonian and Sofia regions, as well as from Thrace.
In this disc, the captivating musical atmosphere is enriched by some of the renowned celebrities of the contemporary folk music scene (Binka Dobreva, Donka Koleva, Danislav kehaiov, Todor Kozhuharov, Hristina Boteva, Gergana Dimitrova).
