This CD presents the achievements of the world- famous Bulgarian folklore ensemble called the PIRIN COMPANY. The ensemble, founded in 1954, has been triumphant in more than fifty countries in all continents, winning the hearts of over five and a half million spectators. Succeeding in their goal to transform the Bulgarian folklore into contemporary art, the members of PIRIN COMPANY can be deservedly termed as innovators and true artists. The long collaboration between the pronounced conductor, composer, music pedagogue and director of the ensemble, Kiril Stefanov, and the precisely selected cast also has its share in the brilliant results of the PIRIN COMPANY.
