Rare WWII BULGARIAN ROYAL ARMY CAP « Bulgarian Militaria « Helmets, Caps, Gas masks « Home
We are pleased to offer Original Bulgarian officer royal army field cap, from
WWII period. The model can be dated to beginning of the 30's and it is
very similar to the Italian one.
The cap we offer is of summer - autumn model and was part of the daily -
field uniform. The cap belonge to 2nd lieutenant / podporuchik Vili Kulev, as he wrote his name on two places inside the cap. "Podporuchik" was rank of the royal army, but cap here is of horizontal patch. So we may suggest officer took part in 2nd part of the war when Bulgaria joins the Red army.
At front of the cap is placed a metal badge cocakde - the crowned lion , symbol of Bulgarian royal army.
