This instrument is of excellent quality, hand made via traditional methods, by one of the best masters of woodwind instruments in Bulgaria. He is a professional master of woodwind instruments, woodcarver. He is a renowned master of wooden flutes and most of the professional players, such as the great Bulgarian musician Teodossi Spassov and others from all over the world, are buying his instruments. The master has sold kavals in Europe, US and Japan. One of them is kept as a best example in the section of Balkan Folklore of the Geneva History museum. Victor is the only Bulgarian master making unique woodcarvings and metal incrustations on the instruments, turning them into them unique pieces of art.
