# 15 Bulgarian Medal for Distinction in the Bulgarian People's Army

Instituted: On 28th May 1974
Given to: Youth officers and sergeants for their merits in serving and successful education of preparation of the troops.
Form: Circle shape with 34 mm of diameter made of lightyellow metal. Reverse: the name of the medal "For Distinction in the Bulgarian PeopleÂ’s Army" surrounded by laurel twigs. Obverse: the National crest with "PeopleÂ’s Republic of Bulgaria". The ribbon of the medal is with five-angle shape, covered with a light blue with a red line on the edge.
