# 26 Bulgarian Medal for Distinction in the Troops of the Ministry of Transport

Instituted: On 28th May 1974 with the name "For Distinction in the Railway Troops" and since 8 May 1978 is known as "Distinction in the Troops of the Ministry of Transport"
Given to: Officers and sergeants for the achievements in their career and education, as well in educating the personal staff.
Form: Circle shape with 33 mm of diameter made of lightyellow metal. Obverse: In a laurel wreath is written "For Distinction in the Troops of the Ministry of Transport" in the center there is a soldier. Reverse: laurel twigs and signs "PRB" and "Troop of the Ministry of the Transport". The ribbon of the medal is with fiveangle shape, light blue with dark-blue, white and again dark-blue lines on the edges.
