# 27 Bulgarian Medal for Merit to the Troops of the Ministry of Transport

Instituted: On 28th May 1974 with the name "For Merit to the Railway Troops " and from 8 May 1978 is known as "Medal for Merits to the Troops of the Ministry of Transport"
Given to: military men and citizens for their merits to the Ministry of Transport.
Form: Circle shape with 33 mm of diameter made of lightyellow metal. Obverse: The crest of the servicemen in the Ministry of Transport surrounded by "For Merits to the Troops of the Ministry of Transport" and "PRB" and laurel wreath. Reverse: The National crest and in three rows written "Troops of the Ministry of Transport". The ribbon is with five-angle shape, light gray with white line in the middle and red lines on the edges.
