# 51 Bulgarian Medal for Consolidation of Military Friendship
Instituted: On 4th March 1975
Given to: Generals, officers and sergeants of the Armies to the countries who were members of the Warsaw Pact.
Form: Circle shape made of bronze with 34 mm of diameter. Obverse: Relief hammer, sickle and sword. From both sides of the images are the National flags of the member countries. Above is written, "For Strengthening the Fraternity in the Sphere of Armaments" and the date of signing the Pact "14 May 1955". Reverse: "Bulgarian PeopleÂ’s Army" and "NRB" surrounded by laurel twigs. The ribbon of the medal is with five-angle shape, light blue with red lines on the edges and white, green and red lines in the middle.
