# 46 Bulgarian Medal for "45 Years MVR / the Internal Ministry"

Instituted: in 1989 by decree of the State Council
Given to: Bulgarian and foreign citizens for their cooperation to MVR. Also to service men and ex-service men for their contribution to MVR.
Form: Circle shape with 33 mm of diameter made of yellow metal. Averse: Relief is the MVR emblem (on a French shield are sword, sickle, hammer and five-angle star). Under the symbol is written "MVR .9.10.1944" the year of establishing. Reverse: "45 Years MVR". The ribbon is red with rectangular shape.
