# 57 Bulgarian Medal for "Merits to DOT /volunteer detachments of working people"

Instituted: On 4th April 1984
Given for: bravery, heroism and self-sacrifice for guarding the peopleÂ’s order, national borders and safety of the traffic on the roads.
Form: Circle shape with 35 mm of diameter. Made of yellow metal. On the obverse is the image of the badge of the volunteer detachment of labors and a sign "For merits". On the reverse: in three rows is written "volunteer detachments of working people". The ribbon of the medal is with five-angle shape, in blue, with red lines on the edges.
