# 68 Bulgarian Jubilee medal "40 Years victory over Fascism"

Instituted: On 31th January 1985 for jubilee celebration of the 40 years victory over fascism and Japan militarism.
Given to: Military servicemen in the country and abroad. Has 2 versions; with and without ribbon.
Form: The first version has circle shape with 28 mm of diameter. Made of yellow metal. On the obverse: Sword pierces the fascist symbol. Above the sword in five angles star is the date "9 of May". The image surrounded by laurel twigs and the years "1945 Â– 1985". On the reverse: "40 Years victory over Fascism". The ribbon of the medal is with four-angle shape, covered with the national colors, followed by one red and one blue line on the edges. The second (desk) version has no ribbon. Made of yellow metal with 34 mm diameter. On the reverse is written "40 Years victory over Hitler-Fascism"
