# 95 Jubilee Medal "100 Years Bulgarian Geology", 2nd variation, "Ge.P.La.I" sign

Instituted: by decree on 21th August 1980
Given to: Bulgarian citizens and organizations, who contributed to developing of the geology in Bulgaria. Also awarded with the medal were foreign citizens for their research and development of the mineral base in the country. The medal has 2 versions.
Form: Made of yellow metal,the medal has circle shape with 29 mm of diameter. Averse on the firs version: Relief mineral crystal with tower on it Reverse on the first version: two jubilee years "1880 and "1980". Averse on the second version has an atom and chemical elements. The reverse has written "100 Years Bulgarian Geology" and 2 hammers. The ribbon is with the colors of the National flag - white, green and red.
