WWII Bulgarian Cavalry army belt for a N.C.O. / non- commissioned officer, part of the everyday uniform. This is the most remarquable belt among all Bulgarian WWII models. It is first introduced in 1936, worn during the WWII which is evident from the very interesting reference photo
of a German and Bulgarian officers we provide below. Bulgarian officer
wear the very same belt.
This piece is rare because of the white color of the buckle corresponding to Cavalry uniforms, generals staff or engineer troops. It is to be worn with white / silver color buttons and shoulder pieces. Size is: 4,9 x 6 cm
Ihe belt buckle illustrates Bulgarian King Boriss III coat of arms: two crowned lions holding a shield. Below is the army slogan: "Loyalty and Perseverance". The buckle is very well preserved with nice original patina. It has never been treated with chemicals!
On the back side of the buckle can be noticed a producer stamp with master’s name and address of the work shop: "Schtilianov, Sofia VII" - one of the biggest suppliers for the army.
The belt is made of genuine thick leather in Very good preserved condition, visible from the pictures provided. It is long 125 cm /49,2 inches ; width: 3,6 cm/1,4 inches.
