Bulgarian Navy parade uniform dagger belt + aglets, 2003
This is the newest military parade set for an uniform of Bulgarian Navy officer.
After the fall of communist regime in Bulgaria in 1989 there were made no changes in the model of the communist army parade belt and aglets. The communist symbols were still in use 10 - 15 years later. Only in 2000 a project for creating new model uniforms was started so the new uniform decorations correspond to the modern Bulgarian army. The metal parts of the new set are designed in traditional old Bulgarian royal style.
The parade belt is textile, made in black color, with gold-like threads. The metal buckle is of yellow color, illustrating an anchor with rope, symbol of Bulgarian Navy. The buckle is similar to the royal belt buckles from the period before WW2. The belt can be adjusted according to the waist size. Its full length is 136 cm / 53 inches; width 4,5 cm / 1,8 inches.
The aglets are in yellow color with 2 metal pendants. In their upper part the same Navy symbols can be noticed again.
This military parade set is in perfect, unused condition.
The set can be split, don't hesitate to write if you are interested in the belt or aglets only.
