Rare WWII German army Ax Hatchet Leather Carrier Sheath, 1916

This is a rare original carrier for German army axe / hatchet. Made in Germany during WWI. At that time Bulgaria as a Germany ally was supplied with different German army equipment. This carrier was used in Bulgaria during the two world wars.

It's made of genuine leather. It has two belt attachment hoops and two buckles. At one of the sides carrier is stamped by the German producer "SATTEL U Lederwarenfabrik BAD SACHSA 61. s.".

Item in great authentic condition ! It will perfectly complete a set with an army axe !
