Bulgarian Leibguard officer in parade uniform WWI, Old photo postcard
An old photograph postcard of Bulgarian Leibguard officer in full parade uniform. He is wearing the beautifully decorated uniform of Leib guard convoy regiment, completed by the wide tassels belt. Officer has the typical fur hat with plume and metal ornaments on top. A long neck chain is connected to the big pistol holster , probably Luger. On the photo is also seen the officer's sabre with the leather tassel decoration "temliak".
Postcard is hand signed by the officer, the writing says: "I give my photo as souvenir and sign of friendship to 1st lieutenant N. Kolev."
Size: 10 x 14 cm
Great reference photo - clear image, close look on the uniform. Unfortunately some small holes are seen, as well as a torn place in the middle. Bent edges. Despite the flows, it is a precious photo.
