17 albums, 3000 concerts, hundreds of performances in European rock-clubsÂ…These are facts from the career of an extraordinary band, founded in 1976, which gradually became the symbol of the Bulgarian rock.
The experiments of the band with progressive rock resulted in new “art” philosophy where perspectives of Bulgarian traditional folk music were successfully incorporated. The specific sound blend is enriched by parts of Bulgarian folk instruments (bag pipe, wooden flute- kaval) as well as by authentic voices of Bulgarian folk singers. The prefect synchrony of tradition and innovation is one of the many creative tasks achieved by the five musicians.
What is also to note, is that FSB are the only Bulgarian musicians, granted in 1990 the highest award in show business, “Grammy” for the production and arrangement of the world famous hit “Selito Lindo”.
This CD represents a collection of singles from 1975, 1984, 1985, 1989 and 2003.
