This is a professional Bulgarian woodwind instrument DVOYANKA in the key of B + certificate. In that tonality it is made by client's order only ( there is no available on stock) . The instrument's length is: 32,5 cm / 12,8 inches. The dvoyanka we offer will be made of high quality wood material. There is a fingerhole on the left tube which makes dvoyanka's burdon produce sharper / higher tone than the basic one. This instrument is hand made via traditional methods by one of the best Bulgarian masters - Victor Terziiski . QUALITY GUARANTEED instrument!

Dvoyanka is an old music instrument known on the Balkans since Antiquity times. Nowadays it is still popular in contemporary ethno and jazz music. It is a double flute used in accompanying vocal duet styles. It is to be held vertically. The finger holes are cut into the lower part of the right pipe; the tone quality is soft and mellow. If blown simultaneously, the two dvoyanka pipes produce an effect similar to the one of a high-pitched bagpipe.
