Jack Ophenbach made a real furor with his remarkable masterpiece. He creates this operetta in 1958 and from then on, OphenbachÂ’s name turns into a synonym of the new parodical music form on stage.
The two CDs we offer you present a live recording of the premiere spectacle on Bulgarian stage in 1959.
