Rare Bulgarian Royal Rucksack, WWII model « Bulgarian Militaria « Military Equipment « Home
We offer you an original Bulgarian royal rucksack, whose model can be dated to the beginning of 20th c. (Bulgaria was Germany's ally in both WWI and WWII).
The model of the rucksack is an interesting one and differs from the oblong-shaped infantry models.
We suppose that those rucksacks were manufactured for the artillery as well as for other types of troops, too. Also, rucksacks of this sort were kept in stock.
The rucksack we are offering to you is characterized by leather straps placed sideways. They are to be attached to other straps: for a blanket or canvass, as it is with Infantry rucksacks.
The rucksack you see is of an army model. It is made of canvass; and has straps that can be attached to its bottom part by means of hooks. The straps are adjustable, and their stability is reinforced by an additional piece.
The rucksack is closed by means of a rope. Above is placed a lid with a buckle.
The item is absolutely original, in perfect, unused condition despite the years that have passed.
It makes an excellent part of your equipment!
