VR RUSSIAN IMPERIAL WWI INFANTRY SHOVEL with LEATHER CARRIER, ORIGINAL MARKS from 1905

This is a very rare WWI Russian army shovel, imperial model from 1905. It was found in Bulgaria and maybe used here during WWI and WWII and that's why combined with a German leather carrier. Most probably shovel is a captured war material during the WWI when Bulgaria fights on German side in battles against Russia.

The shovel is 52 cm/20,5 inches. Metal part in very well preserved condition, with original oxydized layer. It is stamped with a "K.SH." and "GYU 1905" stamps in Cyrillic, standing most probably for the producer name and the date.

Shovel completes with authentic German carrier, model before WWI. There is a stamp picturing a helmet with letter R inside.
