#87 Rare German WWI Army Trench Shovel + carrier, 1907

We offer you a rare, original German artillery shovel with carrier used in
WWI. It was part of equipment of German ally soldiers from beginning of 20th c. Over 100 years ago , the shovel was made in Germany . On the metal part can be clearly noticed the
producer stamp: a letter "S" with two crossed cannons / guns and year of
production 1907 ! The shovel is 52 cm/20,5 inches long.
It has been used in both world wars but it is still in very good condition. After WWII the metal part was conservated, covered with black pitch that we removed just before taking the pictures.
Shovel completes with originalen leather carrier, marked "Adalbert Fischer Berlin C.2" in very good
authentic condition.
