Although the canteen is of royal, WWII model, it was used after WWII, too. The aluminum body is covered with wooden material for insulation purposes. The canteen's cap is made of aluminum, too and is connected to the canteen by means of a chain. There is a metal clasp either for the belt or for the back pack of the soldier. The canteen is in perfectly preserved condition.
