Original WWII Bulgarian parade aglets of highest rank royal officer
These are original Bulgarian royal aglets belonged to a general or other high ranking officer. The aglets are double length which makes them rare. Such were worn by generals only or colonels at position chief staff or commander of regiment. All other ranks are supposed to wore single length aglets.
The ones we offer here are model from 1930s, worn before and during the WWII these aglets were part of the officer’s parade uniform. Color is dark green. The beautiful metal ornaments at the end colored in same green, which has just slightly gone at some places. We display a photo of Bulgarian officer as example of how the aglets were worn. The photo is signed by the chief stuff , dated 1938.
Aglets are in very good condition. Precious find for collectors of royal insignia and German ally’s uniforms.
