VRare Bulgarian Royal General parade tunic uniform, 1924

We are offering this extremely rare original parade tunic of general-major Bulgarian royal army general staff. The cut is very similar to the Russian imperial model, entered with decree from 1924. Tunic is made of dark green soft gabardine. Only 3 years after , in 1927 the model of parade tunic is changed. They are yet made in dark blue color.

The uniform here is was worn for a very short period , therefore it is extremely rare !

The red edging , silver color buttons and silver base shoulder straps are typical signs for the uniforms of general staff only or engineer troops. As we have a rank of general-major - gold color rhombs it is more likely that officer was commander of the general staff. Shoulder boards are bigger than the WWII period models, and just a bit smaller than the WWI shoulder pieces.

Tunic has a place on the breast for suspending a medal bar. Eight buttons in silver white are arranged in one row bearing the image of standing lion with crown - Bulgarian royal army symbol. Buttons are made in Bulgaria, with producer's mark: "Stefan Kalpaktschieff & Son".

Tunic has one inside pocket, and two pockets on the back, behind the buttons.
Size: S -M; length of sleeve - 63 cm /24,8" .
