This is the very rare variation of the WWI Veteran medal, awarded posthumously to officers who sacrified their life in battles. This type medal - with black stripe ribbon is very rarely seen , especially in such good authenitic condition. The big diploma is also rare, dated 1916 given posthumously to Philip Ivanov Georev.
