Bulgarian Order Balkan Mountain , 2nd class with Swords FULL SET

Awarded to: Public, political, social, cultural leaders, ministers and diplomats, who had great achievements in establishing and supporting friendly and amicable relations with the Peoples Republic of Bulgaria.
Classes: The Order has 2 versions: with wide neck ribbon (only the Grand cross) and a narrow neck ribbon (two classes)
1. The wide-neck-ribbon version comes in one class only and is awarded to presidents and prime ministers, who also receive a five-angle star with white enamel, metal on the edges and gold rays. Diameter: 70 mm. The class with a wide neck ribbon has a five-angle star with white enamel and gold edges. A golden lion is connecting the star with its ribbon. The order is made of gold and is to be carried on a white neck ribbon with the Bulgarians National colors. The five-angle star received together with the Order has a green enamelled ring in the center, with yellow edges; there reads: "Balkan Mountain".
2. The Order with a narrow ribbon has 2 classes: with swords for military men and without swords for civilians. The lion, rays and other elements are made of silver. It differes from the second class in terms of all its elements made of silver and enamel in red. The order has a miniature for daily use, with 22 mm in diameter.
