WWII Bulgarian Army Infantry Officer Overcoat Greatcoat

We offer you an original overcoat for an Infantry officer of the Bulgarian royal army, 1936 model.

The overcoat is part of the winter combat officer’s uniform. It is made of thick woolen material, with red edging. The shoulder pieces show that the overcoat was for a junior rank officer. The garment is characterized by metal buttons with a crowned lion: the symbol of the Bulgarian royal army. The buttons are metal painted in green , so that they don’t show too much in the battlefield. There are 2 hand pockets on the outside, and one on the inside. On the bottom back part can be noticed a slit.

The overcoat is of M - L size. Sleeve's full length: 59cm/23,2 inches The garment is in unused condition and it would have been perfectly preserved if there hadn’t been moth-eaten holes on the one tab. This is the only flaw but it can be easily restored if the collector is willing to do so.
