Very Rare Bulgarian Royal Officer Parade Tunic Model 1920 « Bulgarian Militaria « Uniforms « Home
We are offering this extremely rare original parade tunic of a Bulgarian royal infantry officer. The model can be dated to 1920's. It was used during a very short period of time until 1936. It is characterized by an unique old cut with elements similar to the Russian parade uniforms.
Eight buttons are arranged in one row bearing the image of standing lion with crown – Bulgarian royal army symbol. Their back is marked by the Austrian producer: "Bruder Schneider Wien". The uniform has a big stand - up collar like the old royal model. It is made of dark blue color with red edging. The shoulder pieces are of the bigger old royal model from 1888, made in Russia. The two rhombs indicate the rank of the infantry officer lieutenant – colonel. The tunic comes with parade official aglet.
