Very Rare BG royal Fire forces officer greatcoat 1920's
We are offering this very rare officer overcoat of the Bulgarian royal fire forces. It was part of the parade and daily - use uniform. Winter model, that can be dated to 1920's but it was also used during WW2.
The Bulgarian royal fire forces officers were and after communist regime all uniforms and royal symbols were banned and destroyed.
It is made of soft woolen material and was to be worn by a high-ranking officer of the fire forces. The collar is covered with black velvet, blue edging on sleeves and pants, shoulder straps of a major typical only of a royal fire forces with blue base and zigzag stripes.
The buttons are of very exquisite German or Austrian make, gilded bearing the image of a fire forces helmet, ladder, axe, hook and a rope.
On buttons back can be noticed an inscription: "Hochfeine, A , Qualitat , 22 M".
There is a slash on uniform's back with small buttons

The uniform is in perfect preserved condition, considering the years that have been passed. Extremely rare find for all collectors of fire forces items.
