ShopBulgaria has just found this rare parade greatcoat belonged to a high rank officer from Bulgarian royal army. The overcoat is of rare model entered 1942. During the WW2 the greatcoat officer model was changed - it is made yet in grey color , green collar and red edging. It is very similar to the previous model from 1924, and remain the last royal greatcoat used before the communist rule.
Officers wore these greatcoats at official line orders, by end of the war in battles too.
The shoulder boards and buttons are in silver-like color which designs the high rank of the officer owner – a lieutenant-colonel of the Engineer commander staff regiments.
There is red edging on the collar tabs and sleeves.
Royal buttons, with the Bulgarian crowned lion on them.
There are two hand and two inside pockets; one of them has a cut for the sabre sword.
