This is a typical Bulgarian flute - duduk woodwind instrument in the key of B, the length is 34 cm/ 13,4 inches.
It is made of a high quality wood material, ash tree. This instrument is unique, handmade via traditional methods by one of the best Bulgarian masters - Victor Terziiski.
General information:
The Duduk is an aerophone instrument, a one-tube flute with six finger holes. There are two general types: small in the key of C and D and big - in the key of G, A and B. The Bulgarian DUDUK flutes are primarily solo instruments with their roots in the tradition of shepherd's music. They may, however also be used to accompany dances together with other instruments.
